ST JOHNS, MANCHESTER:
The regeneration of the Granada studio site will provide a significant culturally led mixed use development. At the centre of proposals is the Factory Manchester which will provide new facilities for the Manchester International Festival, building upon Manchester rich cultural heritage.
SPINNINGFIELDS:
Only a few minutes’ walk from Middlewood Locks, Spinningfields continues expand, bringing the central business district within easy reach of Middlewood Locks.
SALFORD CENTRAL:
Covering almost 18 acres around the Chapel Street corridor and the River Irwell, across multiple locations surrounding Middlewood Locks, the regeneration of the Salford Central area is an ambitious master plan which has already delivered significant development at One New Bailey, New Bailey MSCP, Premier Inn and Vimto Gardens. Future phases will bring forward mixed use development along the banks of the Irwell further connecting Middlewood Locks to central Manchester.
RIVER IRWELL PARK:
The River Irwell Park is a £72m investment along 8km of the River Irwell. The scheme consists of six zones along the Irwell running through Salford, Manchester and Trafford. It will improve pedestrian, cycle and waterway routes from Salford Quays into Manchester and beyond.
